oddpost
How can anyone not love oddpost? Web-based, but seemingly like a real app, it has a sense of humour, but deferential. It's a bit like GNE for email.
And, the developers have a blog. Take this entry for example:
You return home after an evening of one too many Kir Royales and are overcome by the sudden urge to check your email. But instead of entering your username as "partyboy," you accidentally type "pantyboy" and click Log In. Suddenly your life is thrown into utter turmoil, for an alert now appears claiming that an error has occurred on the server. Fortunately for us, you then pass out onto your keyboard and remember none of this in the morning, and by the following weekend, when you have two too many Kir Royales and make the same typo, the bug is fixed. It's true -- if you enter an invalid username, we now gently inform you of the error of your ways, not ours (though Lord knows our ways are not wanting for errors).
User-centred and damn funny.

paper trail
I'm not sure exactly where I'm going with this. Next section added will be photos, and I'll soon have a GPS, so my location and movements will be published. I'm also thinking about heart rate monitors, and maybe everything I eat, similar to Nigel Slater. Obsessive, moi?
Then I'll think about linking it all together properly, and getting rid of this default design.

Is it me, or is audblogging (urgh) just voicemail on crack?
Blogging is most important not in aggregate, but when truly personal. Please leave a message after the tone.
And moblogging? Why is it pictures? Surely that's phoblogging? And when from a mobile, it's MoPhoBlogging...

procrastinators, new word
A job that should exist: procrastinator. I'd pay someone to not work, so I don't have to. I'd be happily aware that someone is watching Richard and Judy, doing the washing up, looking where to buy marbleruns in Berlin, tinkering with my website, buying home contents insurance, and reading travel guides of places I'll never go to, leaving me to get on with my work, rather than starting it at 11 at night.
I need a new word to describe:
- the feeling after you've had a brilliant idea, when you realise that twenty other people have probably thought of it too
