Matt brought in the new copy of icon magazine. It has a feature on how the Internet is changing architecture critisism, mentioning sites such as things and cityofsound. Worth a flick though.
I love the adverts in this kind of magazine. There are always a few property ads - these newbuilds caught our eye, mainly for the spectacular copy. SoBo is, apparently, South of Borough. Which, in my eyes, is NoEl (North of Elephant). Then there's the (nasty 80s Basildonesque council block) SE17 development - is this SoEl? East of Peckham? North of Stockwell?
Maybe I didn't live in the already trite Bankside back when I was in London - I was SoSoBa (South of South Bank).
