Google Street View is now live for parts of the UK (example). Even in cities, lots of holes – little of Oxford Street and missing chunks of Soho – but still, Google Street View! A little piece of the uncanny valley face-blurring future.

I think Oxford St is missing because private cars aren’t allowed to drive down it, so the Google spycar wouldn’t be able to either.
Although I did come across this site but it’s not nearly as fun to use.
